Description
Overview: K-LIRT’s 2011 Summer Workshop is a time to learn all about “Online Librarianship and Education,” and connect with other instruction librarians. You will learn how to design and deliver education to engage and inspire online learners.
Intended Audience: Anyone who provides (or is interested in providing) formal or informal library or information literacy instruction to elementary, high school, or college students.
Contact Hours: 4
Format: The workshop will include lecture, demonstration, and plenty of opportunities for practicing new skills.

Cap: Registration will be capped at 30.
Registration Period: Registration is closed.
Registration Fee: K-LIRT Members $30; All Others $40. Lunch and parking are included in the registration fee.
How to Register:
- Complete the online registration form (one form per registrant). NOTE: registration closed July 11, 2011.
- Make a check payable to Kansas Library Instruction Round Table ($30 for K-LIRT members; $40 for all others). PLEASE NOTE: If you plan to come, but will not be able to have a check cut until after July 22nd, please send a copy of your travel authorization, purchase order, or check request now, and then send the actual check after July 22nd.

Driving Directions:
The University Archives and Libraries provides driving directions to William Allen White Library from Kansas City, Wichita, and Topeka.
Parking
Registrants who request a parking permit on the registration form, will be mailed a parking permit for Emporia State University’s Violet Zone and Gray Zone parking spaces. There is a violet zone to the northwest of William Allen White Library and a gray zone south of Roosevelt Hall. The parking map uses red outline to show the locations of these two lots.
